SAM visits our school

Yesterday, there was great excitement as SAM arrived at St. Oliver Plunkett’s PS accompanied by our four former pupils Paddy Burns, Stephen Sheridan, Jemar Hall, Aaron Mc Kay and Chairperson of the Board of Governors Mr. Fintan Burns. We were delighted they all took the time to spend the afternoon with our pupils and staff. The pupils sang songs, Alex Bishop recited a poem composed by Miss Murphy’s class for the occasion and we had a Question & Answer session with the players. The day finish with lots of photographs and jersey signings. It was a wonderful experience and we sincerely thank the boys for returning to see us all in school and we wish them luck for the season ahead.
