Return to school on Monday 22nd March
Parents,
We are delighted to welcome all our pupils back to school on Monday 22nd March. After a long period of Remote Learning, it will be great for all our pupils to return to their classrooms and see their friends again. Can I thank our parents for their cooperation and support during this time. I fully appreciate that home learning is not always easy for many families. Hopefully this was the last time we will have to go through this process.
Upon a full return to school, it is so important that we all continue to maintain the steps that were previously in place to protect everyone. These are:
- Only P1 parents permitted to enter school grounds in the mornings.
- All parents are asked to wear face coverings when collecting pupils. Please respect other parents around you.
- No pupil should be sent to school if feeling unwell and school should be contacted immediately.
- The school will withdraw from class immediately any pupil that is showing flu like symptoms and parent will be contacted. This is as a precautionary measure to safeguard other pupils and staff.
- Pupils should not be sent to school if any member of their family is going for a Covid test.
- School bags are not permitted on school grounds as homework bags are provided.
- Pupils may use lunch boxes but they should be washed daily at home.
- Pupils may take a water bottle to school but they must also be taken home daily and washed.
I thanks you for your constant support of the school. Hopefully we will have a stress free Summer term to look forward to.
Regards
Kevin Woods
