Rainforest Animal Assembly
Today the school welcomed Karl from Eco Mantella an educational group experienced in diverse animals. P6 pupils had been studying Rainforests in term 2 and to bring the topic to an end all the children got to see and experience Rainforest animals up close, even holding them. Pupils were enthralled to see giant leaf cockroaches, boa constrictors, tarantulas, geckos, milk snakes and a beautiful giant spectacled owl.
Karl explained many amazing facts about the animals which brought great interest to everyone. It was a fantastic morning assembly that will be remembered for a long time. Well done to all the boys and girls and thank you to Karl for visiting our school today.
