Primary STEM Challenge
Three Primary 7 pupils represented the school at the local heat which was hosted by St. Paul’s H.S. Bessbrook. It is a Science & Technology challenge where the pupils had to design and build a bridge from specified materials. All schools were marked on design, appearance of structure and the ability of the bridge to hold a specified weight for 30 seconds. I am delighted that our team of Caoilinn, Jay and Cullan came first in the competition. Their reward is a place in the Northern Ireland Finals which will be held in the University of Ulster Jordanstown in June. We are really proud of their achievements.
