Primary 7 trip to East Coast Adventure Centre!
The Primary 7 children are back to school after spending two days at the East Coast Adventure Centre. Their residential programme focuses on encouraging teamwork, building confidence and raising self esteem.
Through a combination of tasks and challenges, and trust and confidence games, the children are encouraged to become more independent and raise their awareness of other people. This experience gives them the confidence to take change in their stride and carry their new skills into the classroom.
Our Primary 7 pupils went canoeing, pier jumping, and took on the banana boat. On the second day they tried archery and most of them braved the zip line. The children really pushed themselves and had lots of fun while making new memories.
Have a look at the photographs to see what they got up to.
