P5/6 release salmon with the Ballinderry River Trust
4th Apr 2017
Today P5/6 pupils released over 300 salmon into the village river along the Shean Road supported by Ballinderry River Trust. Pupils discovered that the salmon will make their way to Greenland over the next months and years and that they will grow to around 5 ft in length. It was a beautiful walk, enjoyed by everyone. A big thank you to Ballinderry River Trust and to all the boys and girls for making the project such a success. Have a look through the photos of the walk.
