P5 Ballinderry River Trust Educational Trip
P5 pupils went all the way to Ballinderry to meet up with the River Trust to find out about local rivers, their importance and the rich array of living creatures they support. In a fortnight the Trust will be visiting the P5/6 class and with them they will bring a large number of baby salmon called fry, where the children will have the responsibility of looking after the salmon for around six weeks in an incubator in class and then they will be able to release the salmon into our local river in Forkhill
