NI Waterbus Visits Our School!
P4 to P7 pupils were able to attend educational workshops on board a double decker Waterbus from NI Water. Throughout the day pupils were able to work on a variety of activities which brought a lot of awareness on how best to manage our precious water. Pupils discovered where our water comes from, how it is processed, distributed and made available for us to consume. The visit linked in very nicely to last weeks visit from Newry and Mourne Council Eco Schools, which gave an insight into how best to care for our local community and be more aware of the importance of keeping our beautiful surroundings clean, exploring issues such as fair trade, recycling and conservation. Have a look at the pictures and see how busy our pupils have been. Well done one and all for taking such a big interest in the workshops.
