Forkhill Greenspace Presentation
Pupils welcomed Councillors Roisin Mulgrew and Micky Larkin to St Oliver Plunkett’s today to celebrate and recognise the enormous contribution KS2 pupils made in developing the Forkhill Greenspace last year. Pupils designed hundreds of art images related to the surrounding landscape, which were laser cut onto giant totem poles across the site. Pupils later helped plant hundreds of trees around the new grounds in what was a very successful project.
To acknowledge this significant involvement, Councillor Roisin Mulgrew presented a beautiful engraved crystal bowl to the pupils and expressed her sincere thanks and appreciation for the time, effort and enthusiasm displayed by all the pupils in this project.
