Farewell to Mr. Treanor
Friday 31st March was a special day in the school as we said farewell to our Building Supervisor Mr. Michael Treanor. For the past 29 years, he has ensured our school was always kept in perfect condition for both pupils, staff and visitors alike. No job was ever too much for Mickey. On Friday past, Mickey, his wife Philomena and members of his family joined our school community and Fr. Emlyn in St. Oliver Plunkett's Church Forkhill to celebrate a farewell mass. Afterwards, everyone present was invited back to the school for refreshments where pupils sang and recited a poem for him. Mickey has asked the school to pass on his sincere gratitude to all the pupils, staff and parents of the school for the generous gifts he received on his retirement. We wish himself and Philomena many more years of health and happiness.
