End of Term Assembly
On Wednesday 21st December, all pupils gathered to celebrate the end of term. Assembly began with Mr Monaghan showing a video of all the pupils who completed the recent Extreme Reading Challenge. Pupils were awarded prizes and certificates for their amazing reading logs that were returned. There was a wonderful response from the pupils and it was great to see so many taking so much enjoyment from the reading focus. Well done one and all.
Afterwards, Mr Woods awarded prizes to 40 pupils within the school who had achieved 100% attendance throughout the term. A fantastic achievement for so many pupils. There was also a prize for the best class attendance which was won by P4. It was an extremely close race and highlights the importance of each school day.
There was a great buzz in the air as pupils returned to their classes for one last full day with Christmas around the corner. All the pupils and staff have earned a well deserved break over the next fortnight. Hopefully everyone will get a chance to recharge and hit January running.
Merry Christmas everybody!
