Commemorating 1916
23rd Jun 2016
P5 pupils and the school council welcome local MLA Megan Fearon to commemorate 1916 by planting a beautiful cherry blossom tree. After the planting, school councillors met Megan in the staff room and discussed a wide range of issues relating to local politics. P6/7 pupils have studied 1916 as their school topic and were able to voice their knowledge and opinions to Megan. Well done boys and girls. A big thank you to Megan for giving so much of her time today.
