A busy day for our Eco Committee
4th Dec 2017
Our Eco Committee were very busy today with a Food Waste assembly and a tree planting session with Alison from the Ring of Gullion Landscape Partnership Scheme. The children planted oak, alder and willow along with raspberry, strawberry and rhubarb plants to celebrate the end of Tree Week. The children spoke passionately about the amount of food that is wasted in school and at home and will later launch the activities that will promote a reduction in food waste. Watch this space!
