St. Oliver Plunkett’s Primary School Forkhill

P5/6 Mr Monaghan

Term One has started off brilliantly for all P5/6 pupils who are settling into class routines and work. A busy few weeks lie ahead with P6 pupils taking part in a drama project depicting legendary tales within the local area. P5 have begun Accelerated Reading for the first time and have loved delving into new books.

Pupils have been busy problem solving using IZAK 9 cube boxes as well as learning how to create block codes using Scratch software, not to mention designing their own computer games which has been a lot of fun. After school clubs such as gardening, football and dance have been keeping pupils very engaged with the array of experiences within school life.
